The Montgomery County Family YMCA
presents yFACE, youth finding activities in community engagement.
Explore a new, innovative Y-USA project
to connect teens with meaningful service learning opportunities that create a
lifelong passion for service. The y-FACE program is funded by Corporation
for National and Community Service/Learn and Serve America, created with vital
teen input to ensure youth participation, based on discovering individual
traits, likes, skills, interests, and motives for doing service, and envisioned
to build and strengthen positive, sustainable adult/youth relationships.
y-FACE supports the Strategic Plan goal
of deepening positive values, the commitment to service, and the motivation to
lean for every child and youth because of their interaction and involvement in
the YMCA.
If you are a Middle School or High
School age student, please contact Nick Zimmer at 712-623-2161 or email him at execdir@mcymca.com if you wish to volunteer in
various community organizations that the YMCA has relationships with.
