Each month the YMCA honors an individual or group for
outstanding volunteer service. The recipients of the award have demonstrated
the YMCA's mission: "To put Christian principles into practice through
programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all!"

Terry Snyder has been chosen as the YMCA's April Volunteer of the
Month for his work with the Preschool-Kindergarten Spring Soccer program. Terry
commented about being chosen the Volunteer of the Month, " I am thankful
for the YMCA Youth Sports Program. I have a six-year-old son, Nolan who
is involved in many sporting programs and enjoys every minute of it. I
have worked for the YMCA for several years. I have a wonderful wife,
Kelly, who along with my terrific son keep me busy. I enjoy helping out
and watching the kids have a good time." The YMCA appreciates Terry's
contributions both as a volunteer and as an employee.
